Is entry to Goenkhag, gender bias?

The soul in a feminine body
is the mother of wisdom
I was watching the BBS Dzongkha programme known as Legshed-Lamzang where Venerable Khenpo Tandin Sithup was speaking to a folk of youths.

If you have watched and listened to the programme, a big question has been answered where many think a tradition where females are restricted the entry in Goenkhangs- the room reserved as the place for deities.

He was speaking about the four immeasurable, 1. The immeasurable love and kindness, 2. Immeasurable compassion, 3.immeasurable joy and 4. immeasurable equanimity to the young youths.

One of the youths asked him that, in his view the monastery not allowing women to enter the Goen-khang does not make sense while the Buddhism teaches to practice equanimity.

My concept of Sha-Nying-jay Chen gi-za (ཤ་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན་གྱི་བཟའ)

Campassion=Vegan
cursty: www.sammyboy.com

Well....! This is going to be really awful concept. But I thought why not share something awful and radical believes sometimes.

Sha-nying-jay Chen gi-za (ཤ་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན་གྱིས་བཟའ) a a Bhutanese phrase, often used by the meat eaters in Bhutan is translated as "the compassionates eat meat."

Which in its own essence means that the meat can be eaten only by those who are compassionate or those who have attained the compassionate realm.

But we Bhutanese meat lovers trend to use this phrase to proclaim and consider self a compassionate one....! If this is the case, all dogs, cats and wild beasts could be compassionate living creatures. Well I should confess I am one of these folks lolz.

 One can not proclaim to be a compassionate because one can not be compassionate unless one is compassionate.
